Bebop Baroness: The Music and Musicians Inspired by Pannonica "Nica" de Koenigswarter

Thelonious Monk. Mary Lou Williams. Charles Parker. Horace Silver. These are a few of the musicians inspired and supported by Nica, who was called the Bebop Baroness. Nica was an incredible patron of jazz. A member of the famed Rothschild Family, she devoted her life to assisting musicians and aiding their craft -- even going to jail with them. How do we show up for others? What gives our life sweetness and meaning? Through Nica's music and life, we will discuss contemporary issues of our day.
